When I get interested in an idea I inundate myself with knowledge from books and the Internet. I’m fascinated with becoming more frugal. My problem is too many interests. I'm a budding gardener, Tower Garden novice, canner, quilter, needlepoint painter, and homemade cleaning product enthusiast...and have a full-time job. I hope this blog will enable others who are looking to become interested in similar things learn from my mistakes...which undoubtedly will happen. I can almost guarantee that.

Love Craig's List!
Craig's List buy!
A few weeks ago I posted an ad on Craig's list for canning supplies and got a reply!
Last night I picked up 40 jars of assorted sizes for $10.00. There were some rings and lids but they were not in good shape and most were rusty.
